Is a build considered yours if it's on someone else's build board?? I have a gentleman designing me some scale retracts for the "130" TA154 but were in the engineering stages. When we get closer, I'll post pictures as it's a current project. I've always wanted a twin and this fit the bill. Now if I could have someone make the glass parts and the canopy... Invertmast, are you game?

Awesome Evan. Yellow 10 is simply beautiful! What do you think of the 1/4 scale SIST FW190A? I know nothing compares to your D13.

Here's a sneak peek at Do #2 in the skunk works. Quite a few parts from no. 1 made it into construction. Wings had to be scratch built and adapted from DS plans to fit the Engel fuse. Re-using both stabs, ailerons and flaps.

Evan, as others, your work is at the point of just about any model building of any type that I have seen. The D13 build, and the documentation that you provided us is very much appreciated as is all the information you provide on your website. I have spent alot of time, as I have in a hotel room, and looked at your builds and your techniques. Wished I was still living in the home state, would find that hanger of yours.

+1. Evan is the reason I bought the SIST and until recently(want one), avoided the Platinum ME109. Those landings were just too scale for me then and that plane is too nice for wing scraping; being use to the ground characteristics of the 190.

Can we do glass nacelles? Much easier to deal with installing all the stuff

The plans are all wood and ply construction. I'd like to send the nacelles to you when they're built and maybe you can do the dirty work. Right now, he's just designing the retracts per plans and cad information. The first set will be a prototype of course. He's still a ways off as you know how detailed these are to be correct. For the money, I almost went real simple but the legs make this plane IMO.

Yea the struts really make that plane. Dirty work is alright with me, im good at that. Glass fuse' would be a good idea to, but someone would have to send me a plug ready for molding for that though, as i just got done cleaning my entire shop of dust to prep for F14 production again.

well its going to be a bit before I get the plane done. When it's completed I guess you'll have to find someone to make a plug because me personally I like a wood plane.but we'll cross that road when we get to it right now the main thing is getting the retract completed. I'll be at his house this weekend so hopefully I can post some pictures of the gears progress I'm sure it won't be much but I'll show you what we got.

Jeff,

I painted that for Rich a few years back. he was looking for a "different"
scheme.

so we went with the scheme I had painted on my PCM109.

Its definatly different
