Now I can breath easier! Thanks. There is a difference between the 2. I think color selection would have the biggest impact on impression.

I think I recognize those gears. Had them on a Pica D9. Totally 100% useless. The break pin on the top there will bend even in feather-like landings.

You'd better buy a 100 pairs of them so that you can change them after each landing.

doh! Not THAT complete! These are just solid models of the exterior, they were drawn from factory original and reproducing drawings so are pretty dang accurate.

Still slowly beating the FW190 into shape. Placed the final coat of primer on the fuse today and installed the cockpit kit. Really looking forward to completing this one so I can move onto the giant sitting under the bench. Waiting for my muffler from tower so I can complete the cowl.

Thanks VG. Absolutely Bruno. Looking forward to the thaw so I can get a few flights on her prior. I think tonight, I'll be able to start the fuse details. I like styrene for the raised areas and aluminum tape for the little hatches. The rest of my electronics should be here by the end of week so hopefully, I'll get some garage run time by Saturday.

Looking good Ram!

Im thinking its about time sometime designed a 1/4.5 TA-152 with a glass fuse and built up everything else. Now i need to pull Jose at fliteskins arm enough to help out with that project. Haha.

And so it begins. Another FW190 chapter.. I'm awaiting the last of parts from Tower for the Platt so to keep sane since I can't really enjoy flying with the unpredictable doppler..I've pulled out the Meister D9. These kits build so easily and I wanted something that didn't kill too many brain cells; working with only a few.

Well, I built and flew a bunch of these TA 152's! This was right before a 1/12th scale combat meet in 1998. This was the infamous Steve Hergett design. These models are the reason I always wanted to build a big one. They fly amazing. Even when they are this small.

Hey Ram, What engine do you plan on sticking in that Meister? I have a Quadra 75 if you are interested.

Hey VG, I have one of those little TA's somewhere. I ended up buying two DLE 85's for this and my Meister 109. I get them with the rest of my order on the 13th

Yah, we used to samash and bash them, so I do not have one anymore. The TA 152 flew so good, they changed the rules so people would build and fly other designs! A true testament to the TA 152. It is nice to build a plane now and have it for a while. The life expectancy of those was very brief.
Of note, those aircraft were painted with latex house paint. That is when I learned about that stuff. We seem to have it a little more refined now.

Those DA 85's should be good. Looking forward seeing your progress on this next project.

Well, no delivery today.. Some how, it was pushed to tomorrow. In the mean time, I framed up the horizontal stabilizer. I should have this sheeted and elevator assembled tonight.
