Thanks Lawrence. Great job on the 109. Now all I need is a car that can handle a 94" wing.

Cheers,

Andy

Here's my Meister FW 190A "Blue 8" 3 seasons and running stong! Although thinking about letting her go and building the Vally BIG wulf...the 113" one although not much history on that one. Only found 1 or 2 build threads incomplete.

Hey Dave did not fly the Vampire, forgot the bloody lipos, left the box at home.

What are good choices for 50cc size FW-190A?

cheers

Holman for the money, SIST for the quality or a Dave Platt for them both but full build.

I'm considering that Vailly as well. I've seen one complete and flown but the gent that had her didn't do a build thread.

Yeah I saw that in the other thread. Shaneo didn't even call me back to go. Looked like the wind was up as well...

Re:190 Anton.

ram is the man. 100% what he said.

Just add
sist, rare as to get one these day. And $$$$$
holman: fuse exccy to ship out to Oz, but nice. I had the Dora fuse for a while.
platt, see RAM's post.

there is also an ARF option:

The top flite is pretty nice, but impossible to get in Oz unless you pay massive shipping cost out of the US. ME have not brought any out yet other than a sample one that a guy in Melbourne scored.

thanks

really ?? Big red thum bprint on his forehead?

Who or what is ME?

Going off ARFs due to build quaility issues, mate lost a EMS Corsair when the wing deciced to be like a bird and flap.

Holman sounds interesting, take it that it is a glass fuz?

Wind was ok. I flew the pants off the tiggy all day long and got one flight up on the Mustang. Just my fat thumbs stuffed up what was about to be a nice landing.

cheers

dumb bas tard!!! I learnt that lesson the hard way. Current one I am seeing is under no illusions as to what comes first - planes!! Its all good though as she loves them and wants to learn. Might have to keep her!

Oh Model Engines - painful to deal with.

I looked on the Bob holman site and can't see anything about the FW190A and glass fuz etc? Got a link??

Always liked German aircraft, especially the 190 as it is a pugnacious looking SOB.

Just another to add to my want list. Corsair is defintely there as well. Maybe the H9 version and kit bash it. It seems to be a good ARF structurally to be used as a blank canvas.

Herr Oz,

If I remember correctly, Vic at [email protected] has built both the Holman D-9 and A-8.
Give him a shout. A good bloke.

Firgelli lineal actuator. Pretty happy with how this is functioning. Test proved that servo speed adjustment at the TX does work with the actuator, but only to slow it down. Maybe getting the fastest gear ratio would be an idea, then slow it down from there to get exactly what you want. I am happy with the speed of mine at full throttle.

Nice. I love that actuator. How do you get to it for servicing? Debating on doing my D12 this winter or the Anderson TA152. Saving up for Invertmast TA152 as well.

Spinner in primer.

I'm going to get off my duff and glass the wing to the Anton tonight so I can move forward...

I plan on placing a hatch, or hatches for access. Need to be able to remove the canopy. I just fastened it with a 4-40 clevis. So long as I can get Hemos on that clevis. With all the hardware they provide with the actuator, the install was a breeze.
