Mongo, Bob Holman offers a D9 kits that is slightly under 1/5 scale. It's a 79 or 80" wingspan where scale 1/5 is around 83". It's probably one of the most scale Dora kits out there. It will take Sierra gear.

I looked for the D9 on Holmans website but didn't see it listed, I'll go check again, If I remember right also hes the gentleman whos getting pretty old an may not be making anymore D9 kits just selling what he has left or did I misread that somewhere, all these threads start to run together, would love to be wealthy enough to just have Ram44 or one of you guys put one together for me an then I do the finishing assembly an paint but thats not going to happen on a teachers salary.

If you want to shell out a bunch of $$ there is always the Sist kit. If you can find one. Check vogelsang aeroscale. Besides Fokke's kit. It is hard to find a 1/5 scale kit. If you want to go larger and more money then there is the 1/4 scale Meisters.

I don't want to go larger, if I can't find a kit i'll just save my money till I can afford to get an ESM arf I guess, can't shell out that kind of money on a Sist kit. Thanks

Troybilt Models was selling the ESM D9 for $699. Add shipping + tax and it'll cost more than $900. Is the ESM D9 worth it? I like it but you guys are more familiar with what's available than I am. By the way, the D9 was available on Troybilt's website but is now Out of Stock. I snoozed and I loosed.
