Picture problems

RE: Picture problems
Maybe it's time to make my own blog. This internal 500 error really sucks. Is it a space problem? RAM or Disk space?
Why does RCU not care?
Is it better at Scale Builders?

RE: Picture problems
I have no idea what that internal 500 error is myself but it sure is annoying lol. I don't know if S.B. is better or not, sometimes it seems to be not quite as relaxed as RCU is...

Really does get frustrating. Especially when you have made good progress on a build that you want to share or have a pic that can help a fellow flyer out with an issue. Seems like it's been 50/50 as to whether I can upload pics when I try. usually takes a couple of days to be resolved.

RE: Picture problems
You'd think that a mod has seen the post and reported it to those who can fix the issue. I agree with tailskid I'd hate to think how upset those who pay for this are feeling right now lol...

RE: Picture problems
It is a real shame that RCU can't get their problems straight once and for all. There are allot of good builders who are moving or have moved their builds to other sites. As far as I'm concerned, RCSB is a great place to do a scale build thread. I've been following quite a few threads and contrary to what was previously posted, the people I've seen are just as friendly and willing to help others out as the guy's here on RCU. The only issue some people may have is that it is not a free site. I've also spent more and more time on FG and RCG and the people on both of those sites are just as congenial (sp) as the guys here. Anyway, I'll get off my soap box now because as far as I can tell, things here will never change and like I said in the beginning, it's a real shame.

Unfortunately the Mods here are just like you, me and the rest of us with the exception that they volunteer their time to scan the forums and help the threads to run smoothly as far as content. They have no more control over the servers or anything IT related than the rest of us.
Rest assured that they are more frustrated than the rest of us over the constant glitches because they are the ones who get a load of PM's and are on the front line to field all of the gripes and complaints.
It really is a shame though...RCU has been a dear friend for years and it really sucks to see it so screwed up. Kind of like seeing your best high school/college buddy on meth[&o]

It is a real shame. In fact it actually shames some of the mods whose friends know they are mods here. It's embarassing.

RE: Picture problems
Seriously, this is been going on since Friday and I still can't post pictures. Then half of yesterday and most of today I couldn't even get into the forums, please if any mods would like to inform the higher ups on how we are getting tired of this I'd appreciate it...

Warbird, I noticed to that when you click on some of them they wont open up to the larger pictures either and the ones that do wont let you click the arrow to go to the next picture.

RE: Picture problems
I have seen this happen before in other hobby related forums. The original forum was great, and many great people, but once it fell out of orbit it crashed hard. New sites were created but it was never the same. Unfortunately this site is dieing a slow death and it is sad to see it like this, crumpled up on the side of the road, someone should just shoot it and put it out of its misery. RCG is a good stable site, just not the same.
