***O?

I see they are listing DECEMBER 2014 on the Hangar 9 website. One year wait for me if that holds true!

I was told that a shipment was on the boat.....guess this was wrong?

No, no, no, no, no! The shipment has arrived and is awaiting QA inspection. "The system" then defaults to showing when the next shipment is due to arrive. Barring any quality snags, the Corsair should resume shipping to customers next week.

Could you possibly provide me a pic of your firewall/battery box setup? Looks slick!
I'm also toying with throwing in a sound system, as I happen to have the new high power 50 watt system from Benedini, complete with correct radial sound already programmed to it.
Here is a sample of the same sound system I have on hand flying with the same radial programming...it sounds pretty good if you ask me!

Good to hear! Mine has been on order since Jan 2014. My LHS owner told me that probably was the case as the pre-orders will go out first. Gotta finish up the Carden Extra and make some room in the Hangar!

I just got off the phone with Horizon Sales Rep, and he said product has not arrived and scheduled to arrive until late Nov. early Dec. So... there's a communication breakdown somewhere with Horizon.

I have just been advised that my spare set of tail wheel doors has just shipped. They had been on order for 6 months.

So, I stumble across this plane and absolutely fall in love with it, go to excitedly order it only to find out that I need to wait several months to receive it.

What a buzzkill.

Hi Scott, is it possible to order just the tail wheel gear doors separately or was it replacement for faulty parts ? Thanks

The product HAS arrived. There's a gap in our system. Until the item has passed QA it won't show as in stock, so the system reaches out to the next expected shipment and grabs that arrival date as the new available date. Sales reps can't "see" that we have a bunch of kits awaiting inspection. I can.

So if someone were to preorder one now, after the QA is done it would then ship?

I've been following this thread from basically it's inception since I got one of the first shipment models. I've got a builder who's going to put the beastie together for me so it's time to decide on an engine. That said; I don't remember if anyone has tried a DA-70 (or the little DLE twin) in one of these models? Will the sparkplug wires/caps clear the cowl? How 'bout the in cowl mufflers?

Thanks guys!
