My Corsair is arriving on Friday, 8/8/2014 from Horizon. I had previously purchased Robart electric retracts for this bird and after reading about many problems with the electric retracts, I contacted Robart and they suggested that I send them in to be upgraded to their new electronics (cost $90). I now have the upgraded electric retracts from Robart and plan to use them in my Corsair.

What do you guys think about the GP 88 EVO for this bird? weight is little less than G62 but much more power, looking for some dimensions for the 88 eve and can not find any.
Any feedback on this eng with this ship?

GOT MINE TODAY!!!!!!
Blown away at the scale lines of this airplane.......as exciting as getting the Byron Corsair that I dreamed about!
All arrived in excellent condition with the exception in the decals....they were crumbled up pretty badly so I gotta place a call into Horizon. I also recieved
two canopies, one fixed and the opening one.....the scale details are second to none.
Have a G-62 NIB I will use for power....now need to start ordering up the gear (robart air) and various other stuff I will need.

Received my Corsair today. All looks good with a lot of shipping boxes to dispose. Very few wrinkles with the exception of the elevators. Scale detail is impressive. Can't wait to get started.

You're gonna love the powder coated wheels! They look terrific!
i ordered a spare retractable tail gear so I can adapt it to my old Byron's Corsair!
I'll have to campaign them together in 2015!

So who is going to start a build thread?
I also cannot find the powder coated wheels....didn't seem them listed on the Horizon website???
I guess I will go with Robart AIR retracts for the mains......I read that the Electric ones fail rate is very high.
I have my new Futaba 14SG ready to go....with S bus RX.
I have a new Zenoah G-62 with spring starter.
Need to order servos....could use some recommendations (Hitec digitals?_
This plane is a dream!
