That is what I ended up doing.......reversed the servo and went from there. Thanks for the advice!

Not all that impressed with the Robart Air Retracts.....$500 (actually almost $600 when you add in the tank etc) they give you NO EXTRA air line, and very cheapo "T" fittings.....plus you gotta love the instructions....thank god for Youtube.

I am waiting now for my tailwheel portion.....just install the G-62 and a few small items and she will be finished.

Had the scare of a lifetime just before. I was cutting my firewall to make room for the carb when my saw slipped(my fault) and hit my life battery. It immediately started hissing, smoking and sparking. It was a mad dash to get the plane out of the basement and then get the battery removed. I thought for sure the plane was a goner. If it were a straight lipo, I'd be in a world of trouble. What a night.

How come ur using two channels for alerons, just use a Y harness for the alerons and slave your xtra channel for your elevator!

I flew my corsair 3 times yesterday and she is sweet! She takes off a little slow but the motor isnt broke in all the way yet and I am leaning it out a little more each time I fly, I will post more video soon, I still have to install my tail wheel doors, put in a pilot, and install my bomb drops, but for now all is good in my corsair world!!

Good to hear......I almost completed mine today .....until I found out I do not have a Zenoah G-62 engine mount! Thought I had on e in the box, oh well.......new graphics ordered, order in with Robart for some spare AIR stuff......she should be done next week.

I ended up installing a new S-Bus Rx.......I fixed all my issues with the 8 servo's and wiring that I wanted to clean up.

Is 1" elevator throw enough? That is what she is set at.......I am sure that is pretty scale on pitch control!

Very nice! We are neck and neck in our builds, lol. I got my engine installed (EME 55), throttle and choke linkages installed as well. I'm waiting on my battery pack, new RX and bomb drops, and drop tanks. I'm hoping to be in the air next weekend if all goes well.

I have a question. I've got the eflite lights and controller and just noticed they can't take anything over 5.5 volts. I run 6volts in all my planes, can I run a regulator between the rx and the light controller? Never tried that before with a regulator.

That should not be a problem.
The heli guys use 5.1 step down regs for tail servos.
One of those should solve your problem.

Look at the beginning of the manual under optional lighting, it tells you the part number for the Spektrum voltage regulator to use. (VR5203). It's the one I used and works perfectly. Not all regulators pass the signal through, this one does, so if you use this one, you can still control the lights from the transmitter

Ok, so I have the chance to pick up a FG 84 from Mr. Saito himself. A question to the guys with the fg 84. Can you tell me what are the modifications were needed to make this work? Also has anyone used the fg57? If so how did u like the combo?

My pilot is from a toy store GI Joe and is Joe Foss!

Had him stashed away for years saving him for the right plane....

i had Tea with Mr Saito in Japan in the late 80s when I went on a trip with my dad who flew 747s for Northwest. Wish I could afford that radial!

Look back through this thread, there are a couple of links to the video of the modifications done by Ray English for condor060. The modifications including the Keleo exhaust ring, run $700.00. If you want, for another $30.00, Ray will also drill and tap the front drive washer and provide another flat washer, in a DA-100 pattern. I NEVER liked the single bolt thing on especially bigger gas engines and I already have several DA's so it was an easy decision for me to make, now it's setup like a bigger ZDZ. It took a bit of explaining what I needed from Tru-Turn for the spinner but we got it figured out. It's a 1.75" diameter rather than the 1.5" recommend but it looks really nice sitting on the three bladeded Biela 22x12 semi-scale prop....

So you actually met Mr. Saito himself? Fantastic!

I have 3 flights with my FG-84 now.

Absolutely no modifications what so ever. None. Nada. Nichts.

No Keleo either, which I guess would give a bit more hollow sound.

Here it is on flight number 3, it is the first Focke Wulf;

You can just use one of these nice small light weight voltage reg's in line with the light controller to drop the voltage down far enough as to not burn up any of the lights or the controller.
