Default GP Stearman

Any one else having siphon issues with the GP Stearman? Seems as though the tank center over an inch higher than the carb. On my setup with a Saito 150 after shutting the engine off the fuel wants to keep siphoning grrr.. Any one put in a different tank in a lower position in this plane? Thanks

You will need to get the tank down lower as the golden rule is to have the fuel pickup from the tank even with the fuel intake on the carb. A lot of the ARF models have the tanks to high. Good Luck, Dave

No problem whatsoever with an OS 120 inverted. Been flying for 3 years now.

Manfred I had one of these before with a Saito 180 and I don't remember having this problem either. This plane is from a friend. I just redid the fuel vent and fill tubes in the tank to the highest most forward position in the tank. That should help..
