Here is an A4 gunhood. Same as A3 I think. The differences towards A8 are quite obvious.

That was just me. For my Vailly 190. ( Scale 1/4.5 )

When you build the A2-A3-A4-A5 variants, the colour schemas are just so much better. They are from the "happy days" at the channel front.

While the A8-A9 are from the dark period of 44-45, when nobody cared about how their planes looked like anymore.

All they was thinking about then, was survival. ( Generally speaking, of course. There are exceptions.)

If the difference of A3 and A8 are so smalle I think to build the A3 or A5 from my constructions it is posible and very easy . Just need to change the composite gunhood and some small stuff in the surface

Also I send details for wood gunhood , any who want can make all variants

Right.. all the variants I want are of the "happy" days.

Best looking fw190s for sure.

I'm not sure yet. This one is so nice, I kinda just want to take my time and enjoy it. But I can post updates here from time to time.

Alright then..

Started the FW190 today. Horizontal stab and elevators partially finished less final shape sanding, detailing and hinging. I removed the trim tabs as I plan to re-make them from G10.

What balsa sheet you use, what thick sheet ? How you made the front angle of the stab ?

Hey Rumen, I'm using 1/8 sheeting. The leading edge Is sheeting tapered to the leading edge per the design of the horizontal stabs ribs.

Hi Fokke,
Mt experience with G10 sheet (commercially Fliteskin): its great for covering wings, empenage and control surfaces. Can also be used for fuselage details like access panels, landing gear doors etc.

You will have trouble covering the whole fuselage as this sheet cannot handle compound surfaces

You are correct but you can do many parts of the fuselage. I've covered the Ta152 plug mostly with fliteskin making overlapping panels, etc.

Yasu w1nd6urfa
I will use this composite sheet only for nose area and cockpit area ( the material is 280gr for square meter fabric) , then I will make sheet with 160 gr glasfabric for the tail . I don't think to have any problems with the covering , on the airplane don't have bibble areas ... The real airplane is from sheets to

Yes Jose , I know your material , Good Ta 152 projekt you have there !

What is the weight of your composite sheet per square meter ?
