thanks again for compliments , 25 years building models aircrafts is the best way to get skills !!! ; covering done with 30gr glass fabric but instead of résin i use G4 :quick light and easy for same result as époxy and result trusted from a long time ago ..........
pics : cooling provided for engine and a little mold done to give a better look to wheels

i don't know if it's a good idea to make cooling hole in front part as a lot of engines can fit in cowl
at this point with all radio and engine parts the model weight is 20 kg i think 1 or 2 kg will be needed for balance for a final weight ready to take off bellow 23 kg : correct for a 1/4 anton ,my sist is 25 kg ,my airworld was 21 kg

Do you think that will need more weight in the nose , I think that the engine is enough for the balance .
Also , for me is interesting how you will make the front hole of the cowl , on the original there have a prop . I can talk with my Austrian friend who make on his 3D printer details for my Dora's , to make a new propeller detail for Anton as the Dora radiator .

Hi Rumen
update : work on rivets in progress , hatches and panels done
spinner from fighteraces.com : very good looking spinner , perfect for the model
i will make rivets only on the upper side , it's unusual but this save time and rivets aren't visible in flight .....

flight will occur ................... when i ll be inspired , not now : too much problems , turbine engine broken last week and others planes need work on them to keep them flying

Thanks again for compliments , end of construction , now it's time to look if that thing can be called plane !!!! , here we have wind and rain .... i test the engine today , seem to run fine but test stopped by the weather ; at this point plane weight is 22.5kg with 1.5kg of ballast .... same balance point as my sist model ; for the wheels , if they can handle the weight it's the cheapest possible wheels for a semi scale FW !!!! 6.5$ pair to compare with 250$ for the glennis used on my 109 !!!! for the scheme it's difficult to find accurate source on german paints of the end of war so long time ago as i don't make competion model , i have decided : if i like the result it's ok for me even if not strictly scale
plane need cockpit , pilot , stencils , jettisonable tank ,and lower part of gear pants to be complete .........will do those détails after the first flight
now ..........wait begin for a sunny day with moderate wind line up field ...............

IT FLY !!!!
done today !!! , two flights , airplane in perfect condition
engine is more than enought and run ok , need tuning but no sign of overheating , plane fly ok , no trim needed ,too sensitive on elevator : will add 500gr in cowl , stall is violent (volontary tested ) but recovery easy and quick , try to retract gear on second flight but not enought pressure , due to heavy crosswind i choose grass strip on second landing

Charly.................... CONGRATULATIONS MAN !!!!!!!

I am sooooo happy that you made a realy great airplane , you can not imagine how I am happy about that !!

Tell as more about the fly and the landing, what was the landing speed , how work the flaps, , you know that I made the wishout of the wing, , this twist need to give more stability on low speeds

Do you have a video of the maiden ???

BW < Fantastic pictures !!

to tell more about the plane and the two flights
balance point is at 180 mm from leading edge (170 on my sist model ) will add 500 gr to the 1500gr already fitted in cowl to set balance point at 170 mm , 180 must be considered as rear limit : at 180mm model flight is secure but elevator is too much sensitive for comfort as it's not a 3D plane but an heavy warbird (i use to fly all kind of model from 3D ,jets, gliders ,old timers ......) elevator is set with 20°defflexion up and down (35/100 expo)
when stall was tested i put the the model in nose hight attitude with 1/3 throttle to see if the model haven't bad habbits in the worse situation , stall was violent but the recovery was immediate (like the full scale !!!)
landing speed isn't very hight , a little more than a p51 CARF ,same as 1/5 fw190 sist but it's a larger model
today flying condition weren't very good ,crosswind up to 30 km/h , so i must do other flights to see more about the plane
flaps were set at 40° defflexion , when were used 5 or 6 "clics" of down trim must be added
i think it's a good plane , not the easiest warbird to fly due to his hight wing loading but it is stable , controls were efficients ....in comparison i have a bf 109 fiberclassics (2.5m , 21 kg ) : 109 is very difficult to fly and awfull on ground , i'm confidend with the FW and haven't be worried during the landing ; if you keep the engine running there is no reason to have a problem with the FW
no change needed on plans it fly without need of trims
just bought inzpan cockpit and will add a pilot for the next flights (don't like ghosts planes )
sorry no video of the flights , hope to do some next time
ps: i think with a moki it's possible to save weight as with a radial the engine weight is in front of the cowl

Did you get the kit Izpan or built up version. I went with the kit. The dash needed some modification to fit.
