Enjoyed watching you put your FW through it's paces today John. It looks awesome!
Your detail work really looks great. All those little rivets were worth the time and effort.
For those who may be interested, I'll have a few 2014 Ghosts WWII and (fewer) Ghosts- The Great War WW1 calendars for sale. I'll donate one as a door prize as usual too.

I have some editing to do on mine before I post (that's my thing), but here's a few of the better ones as is. I really think Doug Blakeman's big Westland Lysander was awesome. Some of Doug's fellow fliers just don't appreciate how cool this airplane is.
Awesome B-24! About 140" span. This was built from Don Smith plans.
Lyle Vasser's (of Best Pilot's) great looking B-25 crew.
That Co-Pilot in Lyle's B-25 needs to be paying closer attention the the landing and not the photographer.
John Hudak's Fw190 looked great. You've got to see this one up close to appreciate the top-notch job of scale detailing he's done. All it needs is a pilot figure, and I think that space is reserved for a Best Pilots Gunther Rall.

Thanks to all !
We had a GREAT time and Bill F, helped to see to it that we had some of the best weather possible.
Thanks to all that made this show possible. I was on cloud nine just watching some of those beauties in the air.
The C-47 and B-24 were my two favorites. We hope to see you guys again soon !

Mucho thanks to everyone who attended the event! And especially big thanks to all our volunteers who organized, ran the registration, cooked the food, and helped out with the show! There were about 60 planes there and the weather was perfect!

On my second flight my spinner flew off and whacked the right wing near the tip! It was held on by 12 small screws around the rim. A few of the screws vibrated out and the rest ripped right through the aluminum! Unbelievable! Took a big chunk out of the wing, but I landed OK. Does anyone know what brand of spinner this is? (it came with the plane) The backplate extends back 1/2 inch past the prop hub and the engine is spaced for that. Next time I use Lock-tight!

I believe it's a Dave Brown spinner. I used one on a 1/4 scale G-38 powered WW1 Siemens Schuckert biplane. Never had any trouble like what you're showing. Mine came with sheet metal screws, and I used Red Locktite.
Who took the Best In Show, Best WW1, WW2, etc?

Good looking Jug.
P-38. My personal Heavy Metal favorite.
Another of the B-24. Did you noticed that (just like to prototype) the ball turret retracts when the gear goes down (and vise-verse) . Nice touch!
B-25
More Lysander. It's big and slow and easier to get good photos of (for me).
There were a number of nice P-47s.
That's all of mine. I wish I'd gotten out Sunday, it looked liked the clouds would have made for some nice shots. Thanks for looking. Cheers.

A BIG thank you to the River City Radio Controllers for hosting a wonderful 3 days of flying at Warbirds Over Louisville. You guys really know how to order up some nice flying weather. To the folks that weren't able to make the event put it on your list for next year.
See you on the flight line
