I was told not to worry about sound, as it can be dubbed in.
...Hey nice P40!
Chad,
I wish I had known that earlier! Noted for the future! As to the project, I've always been interested in Pearl Harbor as my birthday is Dec 7th...
All I really have to worry about is getting done
So the cowl flaps turned out nicely I think.
I wet sanded it and shot it flat black.
I also got a chance to shoot some filler primer on the horizontals. I'll sand these out tomorrow, then they will be ready for panel lines

Ok, so finally a little update...
First off I was unable to finish the Zero as my mom passed and I had quite abit to deal with back in the Midwest. I have moved forward with the project though.
The cockpit install -
I used the cockpit kit for the Yellow Zero from DB. It's a basic kit to start with really, and as it's not made specifically for my plane some pieces needed to be custom made. I actually didn't use any of the supplied dash or it's sub assemblies. As you can see I made new pieces from Fliteskin. Some 1/5th scale instruments from iflytailies to complete.

Yes it is Frets, yes it is...
great at thing about the peel ply is that the wing is pretty much ready for paint after peeling and a small amount of sanding. I'll do the bottom of the wing tomorrow.
My hopes are that by the end of the day tomorrow, I'll have it primed and ready for panel lines the following day

Casey, I like your hatch in front of the canopy, itīs smart solution. Could you make some picture of the closed hatch, please? I would like to see the chink between the fuselage and cover.
