Nice progress on the plane, Casey...have been following all your updates regularly.
Here's mine along with my "detals kit". It's the box that shrink tubing comes in from Harbor Frieght. Two for one...you get the tubing and a handy box for all of the removable guns, pitot tubes and antenna masts so your wire doesn't get all tangled up!

Ok, so I've been trying to finish up with a few things that needed attention...
First, I added the "Safe start" switch. This disables the throttle channel, but allows you to check all other controls. Once you hold the button down for three seconds it arms the throttle and you ready to fly. This is a must have guys! Safety made simple!

I wasn't happy with my internal rudder controls.
It was too weak at center, so I removed the control rod, and placed the servo in the tail. After installing a control horn in the rudder, I finished off with 4/40 rod and it's solid now. This did cause me to have to cross my control wires to steering as the servo is positioned 180 degrees from its prior mount.
