Guys, so far I have the list counting up from 71, and 151 & 200 were self assigned numbers, so in an effort to keep it simple once I put this list together all we have to do is copy and paste the last dozen or so numbers with your name inserted in order.

Im still working on this list and have more pages to read so please be patient, in the meantime feel free to add your name to what I have and in a week I will wrap up what I have found and we will move forward from there.. sound good??

Give me about a week to make this list solid (I have a full time job), your number may and probably will change depending on what else I discover (the numbers given are for us new guys only) so remember this is a tentative list until I finalize it in a week. This gives the senior brotherhood members a chance to respond if they had/have one of these numbers from 72 and up.... ok? sound cool??

Lets keep it simple and remember it's just a number so with many folks in the "brotherhood" we may not get our "favorite" number so lets be kind and understand that sometimes we do not get what we want, okay most of the time we do not get what we want - ....so.... a little grace toward your fellow P-51 Warbird modeling enthusiast goes a long way

Mr John Taylor went from #35 - #55 as an example.

Once I finalize this I will denote it as such and we can all move forward from there.

Looks like there was confusion earlier while compiling the list. JT, your number changed three times!

There was a spreadsheet listed and there was a posting by the original poster. The direction we go will significantly change some numbers but I'm still investigating so hang in there. We may have to end up starting the list at #201 just so we do not affect those with seniority.

I certainly do not want anyone creating new accounts just to be a pain in the ***** because they got their feelings hurt. I'm just trying to make this thread good for all of us so we can have more clarity...I can drop it now and assign myslef #IDGAF and move on so PLEASE if you have a beef just chill...aint nobody trying to ruin your life over a silly number.


To everyone who has or will add your name to the current list I am working on, I will make it right for us moving forward.

Okay guys, this is the final list and the most up to date. Special thanks to P-51 brotherhood members Chris923 & rglgatortail for the work they have done. Without their posts I would not have been able to filter through and get this list together.

My apologies to anyone else who may have helped behind the scenes but I can only post what has been clear for all to see. The only exceptions to our new updated sequentially correct brotherhood member numbers list (say that three times) are those who have posted previously on this thread with their non sequential number in their sig. That number will be honored.

The reason I did not included the PDF spreadsheet is because it was not clearly visible for all to see. Sorry.

The original poster has made it clear that this has been too much to keep track of and I do not blame him. He is very young and I would think with school and all its a little tough, but bless his heart for starting the P-51 Brotherhood thread. Thank you lancairmustang!

Folks, please keep in mind this is a hobby and as such it should be fun, clean, enjoyable (and expensive!) so keep it all in context. In the grand scheme of life, its just a number!


The P-51 is probably the most common known and loved WWII Warbird so I think it deserves to have a members list that is not in a state of confusion.

To become a member simply add your name to the next available number,(copy, paste, post). I will update the complete list every couple of weeks or so, or as needed. Please do not ask me to add you to the list, that is your part not mine okay....keep it simple and easy for everyone. (See post #826, #827).

Another option is moving this list to a new thread and if I do I will link it here and link the new thread with this post #. This way we can keep all the pictures and posts moving/flowing along on this thread...your feedback is welcome just keep it clean, no insults, I am not trying to pi$$ in anyone's Wheaties. Just trying to help.

seniority is only used to recognize those who have received a number already.... we can call it whatever you want. Some people will want a number, some won't, I agree its a matter of the heart, you post you are a brother but I don't want to get bogged down in semantics... just trying to enjoy the hobby like everyone else...

Would like to Join the brotherhood. I am posting here because of all the Stang knowledge. I picked up a Sky Aviation 98" mustang at a swap meet about 3 weeks ago. It is in decent shape and wears vintage Mrs America colors. I will post up pics of the rebuild later. I would like to know if anyone has knowledge of this aircraft and a set of plans laying around that I could copy? Any info would be helpful.
