I'd like to join!

Hangar 9 P-47-40 30cc sized with DLE55RA and on board starter. Thing jumps off the ground...

How about a Top Flite Mustang .60 with DLE20?

Better yet....Maxford .40 cub, with OS .61 that hit the pavement doing about 70MPH - That was when I figured out I liked to fly fast but my plane did not!
Found the pilot figure about 200 feet away...

Hey guys and gal is the One eighth air force club still around mesa az. as I was there about 30 years ago flying my Byron f16 along with some buddies from san jose ca. and puallop wa. , I remember it was a great field and we had a 15mph wind coming right down the tube and were pulling nose up and backing off throttle until they looked like kites, in those days if you could successfully fly a df jet more than a few times without some sort of trouble you were doing good , back then the Byron f16 had to be the "trainer' of the ducted fan jets,,,,,those were the good old days and I really miss them....

Charlie.. do you have a Warbird? if you're flying a U CAN DO 3D you'll have to send a pic of the plane in flight with a bomb or missile attached to it somehow!

My deepest apologies and warmest welcome, sir... You are definitely a member with that hangar! May the glue occasionally glue your forearm to the wing for a long time to come!

Folks.. a big hearty welcome to whom I think is our first octogenarian, oh44077 (code name - Charlie)

Welcome aboard oh44077! you, sir, are number 80

I hope I can join the group....sometimes I like to scratch and kit build though!
Here's my ARF's: Seagull SeaFury with 3" cut off the nose to make it look more scale...at the expense of wing loading! Seagull Super Tucano with a DLE 20 in it that lost the nosewheel, rear pilot and deadsticked - all on the maiden flight! (still flies great after all that) KMP Spitfire 1.20 with a DLE 35 RA in her!....TBM/KMP Hawker Typhoon with a DLE 30 in it (still afraid to maiden that one!...she's pushing 20 lbs!)
and some scratch builds...1/7 Mizer Lysander, 1/5 Vailly Typhoon (still building) 1/4 Doc Pepino DH53 Hummingbird, TF 1/5 Stinson SR9 Reliant bashed to Jimmie Doolittle's Shell SR10...
Plus the foam airforce of EFlite Hawker Hurricane and Freewing Mossie!
Cheers

Hey folks.. today I went to the AMA show @ the Ontario Convention Center... picked up a dozen assorted servo extensions, some switches, 20 yards of 3/4ounce fiberglass cloth, some WestSystems 105, and some glue (MXbon 105 is my favorite).

There were some nice planes on display... The swap shop area was replete with folks selling their old trainers and plenty of 1000 hour glow motors to be had...

I was sorta bummed that the convention hall was wall to wall multi-rotor... Very little plane-centric activity... every other booth was selling some sort of multirotor or multirotor paraphernalia. Desert Aircraft was there and I did get excited about their new 70cc boxer twin... I also saw that they had a 4 stroke 50cc from an European manufacturer but I forget the name...

I went specifically to buy a bunch of LiFE packs but none were to be had... I did find a 20,000Mah LIPO the size of a cinder block that would be great in a small foamie (I'm sure it wouldn't affect flight performance at all - lol)

apart from that I'm working on the baffling for the big Wulf... I'll have pics on here in a few minutes... I'm getting my gear ready for the ride out to AZ to see my OEAF friends... fly some warbirds!!! more to follow!
