Default Ziroli Stuka set-up

A question to all you Ziroli Stuka pilots. How do you set-up the ailerons and the flaps. Do you set them up at zero to the wing incidence or zero to say the bottom of the wing. Any and all help would be great.

They follow the wing root or contour and remain level. The outboard flap should be level with the aileron. You may need to trim it in flight, but this should get you close if not dead on.

Barry,

Please excuse my ignorance. I have mostly flown WWI birds with no hanging ailerons and flaps. So the bottom of the aileron is parallel with the bottom of the wing ? Is this correct.

Just look at it as a DR1 or D-VIII, other than the flight control hanging below the wing, the setup is the same. No need for differential either, max throws on both ailerons in either direction.

Barry,

Do you have a source of good wire landing gear. The Stuka I bought has the wire gear and I don't feel like cutting it apart for Sierra or Robart.

Theres nothing wrong with wire gear, been flying with wire gear for over 16 years with great success. There was a modeler named Bob Shattleroe that made awesome Stuka gear, I had a few sets from him, but he's now passed.

Barry,

What was so special about his gear, I have access to a bender. What do you recommend.
