New Hangar 9 P-51 60cc

Lets go back to my original post.
2 ailerons, 2 flaps, 2 elevators, 1 rudder, 1 gear, 1 throttle
Optional: kill, tank drop
Now....if you were to use a Y harness on the ailerons, or match boxes on the elevators or flaps, you could get it down. I run one channel per servo and do the mixing in the radio, though with a DX-18 I can get away with it.

I also really think this is going to be a nice mustang.....
my LHS just told me the latest date is Dec 11....just in time for Christmas!
My only problem is I am not sure I want the first run of this kit....
Course I am also concerned with getting a kit that was not supposed to be sold because it didn't have the fix done to it....
I really do like hangar 9 quality and do trust them.... Just for 900 bucks I don't want to have to do some mod to it ( like I had to on my extra 260 wing)
cant wait to see some pictures

Yikes!
I called on Friday to get updated status and was told Dec 11th. This after having checked my online order status which currently says availability "in stock" & "processing order". So now, the web site says "Late December".
Of the 3 dates, I'm betting on #4 - next year

The Mustang will ship this month. The new parts we needed have hit American shores; the California warehouse already has its allotment but the Illinois shipment is still making its way across the country.
I can't tell you which week it's going to ship as there are still too many unknowns, but we will get it out this month.

...and consumer sales reps do not have access to the same information I have. 1st week in January is a VERY conservative view based on an automatic 2-week offset that gets inserted into all our release date estimates.

These threads crack me up. The Warbird ARFer's chasing scale. Same in every thread.
When will it be available
I need to fly it with a scale 3-4 bladed prop
The airfoil is not scale
Gonna strip the covering and change the color
On and on! With so many inaccuracies, (for your tastes) it would seem building it would be a more suitable option.

It never ceases to amaze me how often this subject is discussed and debated by guys on the forums.
The manufacturers produce airplanes in order to sell them, period!
Mustangs sell, that's it. When they don't sell anymore, they will stop building them.
What I don't understand is the petulant behaviour of those that come onto certain threads complaining and bemoaning
that there personal favourite is not being produced for them.
If the type of aircraft you like isn't being currently offered, build one from plans or a kit.
Dave
p.s. Thanks for the update Dave.
