Hi Rumen,

May I ask what laser CNC cutter do you use? I'm considering to get one for my glider projects.

Thank you
Vik

Any chance you might drop that Spitfire down to 1/7th scale?

Yes I can rebuld all details for 1.7 scale but like the bigger 1/4 I do not have composite sowl and canopy .

Before several months I made 1/5.5 scale , for this size I have composite cowl , the model is around 2 meters

I second the 1/7th scale, I'm sure a canopy from another manufacturer could be made to fit.

The problem in rescaling is not the stringers holes or other wood stuf, the problem is that I have to make the all molds for cowl and canopy......

If you scaled to the same size as an existing kit like Top Flite or the old Royal/Marutaka then you could put out the short kit and plans and the buyer could order the cowling and canopy from another source whether it be Top Flite or Fiberglass Specialties who makes cowling to fit both the Top Flite design and the Royal/Marutaka and the canopy to fit the Royal/Marutaka..

Yes, for the Canopy can be done, but for the cowl I can;t make it because the shape of formers of the fuselage is probably different from other companies , So I can make make the cowl by wood ribs and stringers , and make 1/6 and 1/7 scale , then the guys have to buy just canopies
