Hi Roger
Yes I have 2 degrees down like the real airplane. I recommend and 1-1.5 degrees to the right due to the gyroscopic moment of the propeller.

Some pretty good Griffon powered Spitfire and Seafire scale drawings state 2.5 degrees down thrust from fuselage datum - and tailplane at zero. But I also have a Spiteful general arrangement image that says 2 degrees down thrust. Same drawings show +2 degrees of wing incidence at root and -0.5 degrees at tip.

Your drawings look like they'd be from the original source of Spitfires and Seafires - so you are probably correct. I don't think my eyes would detect a 1/2 degree deviation in a finished model ...

I think this washout is important, as I wrote earlier in post #124
Otherwise the elliptical wing has a tendency to tip stall or in the best case stall all at once

On the other hand if one builds this Spit at a low wing loading then the stall speed will be too low to matter

Hi Chris
I am a collector of drawings, some of them I bought, others are my gift from my friends.

Are you vacuum forming into the mold halves or making a new tool?
When I make car body tools or other parts I make the tool from aluminum filled epoxy cast into a mold from the master model. That handles the temps and cycles very well. How are you making your canopy tools?

HI
Yes the white details are positive molds for vacuum forming . I made them from polyester resin.
My idea is to make two types canopies, with epoxy frame and without frame
