Very well. I got the test flights late last month and have started on the redesign of the fuselage for the AD5 variant. The A1H goes on the self until Howards AD5 is designed and the fuselage is built.
Here is a video link of the first flight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdjCuULdy5w&feature=youtu.be Here is a 3D CAD screen shot of the AD5 Fuselage. I'm trying to get it ready to go to the laser cutter by the end of next week. Howard and I hope to have my A1H and his AD5 Fat Face completed and flying by early spring....of next year:-)

Yea, I think it flies better than the 100". It weighed 49 pounds for the test flights. Scale details and paint will add some weight but I actually think that will help the flight envelope.

To all of the persons who are part of this Brotherhood, sorry for my absence. I have been busy with my plane projects trying to make since of them all. I will try harder to stay in touch more often, and with winter coming that may make it easier.

A quick up date on the 120" AD5 redesign.
I finished the CAD work about a month ago and emailed the files to Pat at LasercutUSA. Got the parts back within a week and one of our members and fellow Warbird pilot, Howard Davidson started on his wing. I'm building the fuselage to verify the design would work. I have run into some design issues (expected) but mostly the fuselage is going well. Howard has the right wing roughed out and is working on the left wing panel.
Our plan is to have his AD5 and my A1H ready for the flying season this spring.

Probably time to update the progress on Howard's AD5 and my A1H Skyraiders. Howard has his wing finished and I have his AD5 canopy operating. He is working on final details and that huge cockpit. I'm finishing the last of the molds for the A1H. Here is a video of Howard's operating canopy.

Gains, your and Howard's Skyraiders are going to be the hit at the Fly-ins this year. Maybe I will be able to join you guys this year and pit with you with my small 103" AD-5 bird
. Also I purchased Charlie's AD-5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4j5f_mGUi0
Charlie would have loved to see your bird.
