The Vindicator was an aluminum forward fuse and empannage. From the rear gunner to the empannage was fabric. The wing center section was aluminum. The outer wing panels were aluminum skinned from the leading edge to the spar and then fabric from the spar to th trailing edge. It was a pre-WWII bomber (that period of transtion from biplanes/fabric to aluminum skin). I have always liked the pre and early WWII aircraft.

Nice project, I like the Golden Age aircraft best. But everyone wants the newer A/C. My 1:4 scale Curtiss F11-C2 Goshawk as alum dural noses on the wings and H & V stab, and the forward section back to the aft end of the cockpit is alum skinned.

Final Answer
Nothing special here, just a rendition of a tail gunner. The gun is from www.iflytailies.com of course it still needs painted. Now don't tell anyone I mounted it upsaide down, but I wanted to take advantage of the holes in the gun body for mounting. Not many, if any, will notice.
