Got home today and packed up for the weekend. So i decided to do a bit of work..
First up was turning some tools in the lathe for stamping the litho details. First up was the riveting tool. This is just a piece of steel turned down to .1053830284" in diameter.. Roughly
The other is about .2" in diameter with a hole in the center. This is to replicate screw heads and washers as you can place a phillips or slotted screw head in the center.
And the results of the tools.
Then i started tranferring rivet lines onto the panel, these two are done other than cutting out some of the hatch panels and stamping in all the details:

After spending all morning and early afternoon doing nuttin, i did some work.
What you see below is the vast majority of the afternoon of laying out and stamping in rivet details. All duplicate panels are done (except for cutting out access hatch panels on those that have them (all of them)) so once i get the gunhood fiasco fixed, ill start applying panels. Many of these panels have countersunk flat head screws in them, so ive got a couple hundred #0 and #1 screws and washers to purchase as well.

Vertical,
You'd be more than welcome to join us. We get a nice group from your neighborhood. The fly-ins and our facilities are basic but the atmosphere is hard to match. Dave is a great guy and a foundation of knowledge that he shares with anyone who will listen. Very nice example of the good side of our hobby.
