Default P-39 Airacobra questions

I posted this in the ARF/RTF forum already but figured I might get a better response here:

I am thinking of getting one of the VQ P-39's and have a couple of questions for any of you who have put one together.

First off, does the model tend to build either nose heavy or tail heavy? Secondly, can the engine be mounted inverted without too much trouble?

Also, does anyone know of any other .40 to .50 sized versions of this model, (ARF)? The Wingsmaker and World Models versions are a little bigger than I want so not really interested in those.

I found this one:

but can't seem to find a distributor for it or much other information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been flying my VQ P-39 for 2 years now. It is one great flying plane. It flys just like a big trainer. Mine is electric, but I'm sure that any .40-.50 2 stroke can be mounted inverted in the cowl. Mine balanced perfectly with a 4 cell,2400 mah battery. Check out Hobby People for VQ kits

Finally got a chance to get this model built. Ended up taking alot longer than anticipated. Out of the box the covering was not holding up very good, but when I tried to tighten it, it basically fell apart so I ended up recovering it. I was able to get the engine mounted inverted but had to install a remote glow igniter because of the position of the nose wheel. It did build quite nose heavy but is still quite light and the fit of the parts was actually really good. Haven't flown it yet, hoping that happens this week if the weather holds up.
