Hi Shayne! Iīm glad you like them. I hope, that thatīs all for cockpit. I would like to get back on fuselage molds. The master fuselage needs many details.

I did first armour plate. Happy with the result. Now Iīm thinking, that it would be better to cut the base plate from fibreglass bar.

First model of Spitfire pilot's seat mounting was difficult to assemble. I decided to design new one. That will be easier to complete and will com for 1/8- 1/4 scale Spitfires.

Revision of the joystick is done. Here are first 3 pieces with brake levers: 1/4, 1/5 and 1/6 scale.

Both styles of spade grips are done. I will have to decide which one I will use. Or find our wich style was used in "MJ931"

Thank you Bob! Canīt wait when I use all those stuff in my cockpit!

Very happy with the result of new cockpit stuff. In the pictures are all parts in 1/6 scale. Glad, that all details are visible, well also 1/5.3 scale or bigger parts will be detailed such as those smaller items.
For sliding canopy would be better to replace the grey resin rail by some aluminium or brass, well the door gear can come without the rail.

I painted door gear. Next week I would like to take some better pictures. It seems that is time to get back to fuselage master model and make molds.

Plexiglass is what I would use. I don't know where you can buy it locally but Mick Reeves sells some material that is pretty good.

I will have a look at some hobby shop. If I will not find any suitable glass, I will use some clear and paint it by transparent paints. It work with gunsight well some green paint wouldnīt be problem.

I did pressure bottles for oxygen system. Those are 1/4, 1/5 and 1/6 scale. With the bottles I did tanks for de-icing fluid for same scales. It seems that all main parts of the de-icing system are done- fluid tank, pump and valve.
