Default 1/3 scale 33,3% BF-109 F G K fokkerc.com

Hi guys , I start work on 33,3 scale project Bf-109 F G K model.
I think about this size model from long time a go. Now I have customer who want to make this size of my smaller Bf 109 , so I am happy with that
My models 1/5 and 1/4 Bf 109 are with original airfoils and shape like the real one airplane, just the vertical stab is with simetrical airfoil, Now I wil lmake for this huge model the asimetrical vertical stab , so all will be like the original airplane

I start with picture of my 1/4 scale model who will use as base for the biger one.
The 3D pics are of my friend Asen Atanasov from Bulgaria

Hello Fokke, this project sounds very interesting and I am looking forward to seeing your progress. What will be the dimensions and engine recommendations on this one?

Thanks
Jay

Really nice work so far. Based on the pictures, this appears to have plug in wings and the gear mounted to the center section and fuse? What will be the wingspan?

Yes the central section for the landing gear is based in the fuselage like on the real one . The wingspan in 1/3 scale is 3308mm or 130,2" inches

Very excited to see a BF-109 in this size, I flew my test modle with a DLE 222 and an edf fan for cooling, but it was to hard to keep cool, I got a sweet new ZDZ 210 inline with starter right before I left for my current Army Deployment.
I love this new motor, but a KOLM with a longer prop shaft would of worked a little better. All I have left to do is CG and finish some of the painting, I don't have a picture of it painted, Slacker I know.

I made the retracts my self and lots of 3d printed parts thus far.

That is really cool and looks great! Very impressive work especially in the creation of the molds and the retracts.

Mike is that the 1/3 scale you built? or the 1/4?? I bought Fokke's 1/5 Emil. I want a larger one for a kola. which kit and kolm size are you thinking??

I have a 155 sitting in a drawer.

This is how crazy a DLE 222 was to package, but it didn't stick out of the cowl anywhere which was nice.

I did all this fab work with my Buddy Mike Kass, He is amazing for sure, the air cylinders are from a company online, I had to make adaptors to for our smaller robart air lines, but they work amazing. The tires are just 7.85in scooter wheels, Took out air tube, filled with foam, and 3d printed covers.

Im so happy Fokkerc is making a bird of this size, Im hoping I could get a copit from them. LOL

I do have one more complete fuse/cowl and a set of foam wings as back up in the basement.

Actualy the mine project is for totaly different airplane like F G and K version, the connecting with Emil and other is part of the fuselage back from the cockpit !

So, I made the vertical stab airfoil like the real plane, now all plane is almost 100% like the original

Those parts look great. Do you plan to add this size to your list of kits available? If so, will you have a canopy and spinner also available?

Hello guys, many of my customers of the BF-109 have asked me about an instrument panel with good quality for my model kits. So, I started to design and print several types of dashboards for the BF-109 using my new resin printers. Maybe later, I will make them for other model kits too. Here are pictures of our work on the Bf109 G6 in 1/3, 1/4, and 1/5 scale models. The idea is to create the best and almost 100% authentic details on the instrument panels.
