I wish I had your guys energy. I'm going to be 57 soon and feel anemic. My doctor had me on androgel and I was scared it was going to kill me. I could taste it an hour after putting it on. Way below the minimum number on the chart for needing the stuff. Anyway what's the opinion on the best stuff to install Robart hinge points. Epoxy is only locking the barbs. I been thinking gorilla glue. The brown stuff used sparingly due to the expansion. I'm open to all thoughts never having used them in a heavy plane. This Aurora 9x radio is going to be a trip to use. I have the Optima 9 receiver and it has a bind plug. Receiver doesn't work without it and I know its bound due to fail safe working. I e mailed Hitec. Nothing mentions this in the written directions I printed.

Guys… what is the scale of this model? Robart advertises the retracts for it as 1/5 scale but the Ziroli P-47 at 92" is closer to 1/5, I think.
I want to order graphics from Callie but am unsure about which scale (1/6 vs 1/5) to order.
Thanks...
Curt

it is an SPC port plug and meant to be in place, Link or bind is the same thing just like a tri power or 6 pack.............depending on who you are loyal to. I own both so excuse me for using the wrong terminology. I did not see anything about it in the manual and it is for what you say. the scale is 1:5.6 as best as I can figure for the kit.

Yaaaaa.....Got to maiden the Jug yesterday. Well, because of shaky hands and nerves about to make me jump out of my skin, I had my trusty best buddy Paul Sheffield do it for me. Yes, he did an awesome job. Perfect takeoff and a perfect landing after a perfect maiden flight. A snotty carb and sour motor kept us from flying it again........GLAD THAT ONE'S OVER.......I'm legal for 1/8th Air Force now, this weekend.
I'm a happy camper.... Captain Ron

Ok TFGS P-47!builders. I have a costum built muffler from JTEC for the DLE85. It was desingned to fit as tight as posible so no cutting of the cowl is needed, plus it is made for scale exhaust exits. So if your wanting to use the DLE 85 and have scale muffler edits this is the muffler.
this is a one of a kind made from my prototype.

Great job on the maiden also...........perfect belly landing.........We don't have pretty grass................We have a pretty 600 ft long asphalt runway. Wish I did have some video of the maiden but I don't so it is what it is.......
One eighth Air Force is a wonderful club here in the Phoenix, Arizona area that is extremely dedicated to the Military scale modeling part of this wonderful hobby. They're a wonderful bunch of guys that put on both a spring scale flyin and a fall scale fly in in October. If your in Apache Junction, you should come check it out this weekend. We'll be at the Sun Valley Flyers field off Cave Creek road and Jomax.
Take care, Captain Ron

Buy the way my maiden was almost done at Arizona Model Aviators Superstition park ... Phill was going to do the honers.I bought it in Arkansas on the way out to AZ in 2010.
Sure glad i waited till I got home to Wisconsin ... Would not ave been much left of the bottom on the TarHeel landing gear up
on that asfault runway. As it was it got a few grass stains. After that I went and LOCK TITED every thing that was metal on metal,
See Ya Saturday 28 March '15.
p.s.I got a the Video Camera too.
