It was supposed to be a link to this airplane that had a much bigger radial and came from same factory on long island the p47 came from. The computer at work didn't copy over entire link. Google this plane and I'm sure you'll see the wikidot site near the top. Lots of info and might make a cool project.

My work computer has so may filters on the system it wouldn't let me load the write up on this plane. Bigger engine. Almost 4000 horse power on tap. I think it said 100 were made.

these planes are beautiful. first I need to get basic assembly then lay my tape lines and prep the surface for invasion stripes. then I will take and see what different finishes look like on scrap test pieces.

finally finished the tail area. Everything is located under the hatch for radio and air. Where is the scale fuel door located. Is it forward of canopy starboard side at 2 o'clock position.

Tony it looks pretty cool, I see whee you built in the access door. looks nice. I put all my stuff in a removeable hatch behind the tail wheel. it never dawned on me to do what you did but its only my 3rd build since I was 12 or 13. do you know where the full scale fuel fill location is? I have a 30mm dia. fuel filler from hobby king that looks good and I thought I would use it. being round causes some issues as I will have to modify to fit onto a curved surface.

I thought it was a door on rh side of fuse forward of the cock pit. I cant get into this forum from my cell phone anymore. I pick on forums and it goes straight to the rules section. not much fun when I cant get into the site from home.

My Feedback: (2)
Here my finished ARC. DA-50, Robart Electric gear, Futaba gear, .6 oz glassed with ZAP Zpoxy finished with Flite Metal. 26.5 lbs got 3 flites on it, flies like a big trainer. takeoffs and landing are easy withe the wide gear. the huge wing just nibbles at the stall with no wing falling off to a spin. a lot easer to fly than the TF P-51. The Flite Metal shines nice in the sun.

Its nice to see a nice plane sitting in nice green grass. Mine turned white yesterday. Can't believe it. How fast do you think it flies. Tony your plane is looking sharp too. I am busy sequencing the jomar unit and do final fitting install for my air lines. From the receiver I have the sequencer that will first open inner doors then it will cycle the servo to actuate air valve for retracts. I have it set to operate the doors in a 2 second cycle, then 2 seconds later move servo for air valve. I want the safety factor so I don't blow open inner doors with my struts.
