Hi Thanks for the kind words. The engine is the Valach 60 vm four strokes.I do not know the horsepower. But wiht a 24x12 prop has a trhust power of 10 kg per manufacturer,Whit this set up ,the prop pulls the plane wiht the engine at iddle,So ineed to change the prop,i will use 24x8.Max rpm on the ground by the manual is 5500 rpm,but i only got 4500 wiht the 24x12,I need to adjust the carburator.
When i have the carburator adjusted i will make another trhust test.

I think he means, "Why did you choose the Kansas Tornado paint scheme (also sometimes called livery)?"

Hi everybody,i,m very confused about one of the most important things in a plane .The CG point.Mine plane is the kit version and has the CG point at 5-1/4 back from the leading edge at rib 5. per plans.
The same plane wiht the RTF version has the CG point at 6-3/8 near the fuselage sides,Wchi is thr very right way to measure the CG point.
What do you think is the best way to measure it,to the side of the fuselage at 6-3/8 or at rib 5 at 5-1/4.????

First off don't attempt to balance upside down where the ribs are basically gone because of wheel clearance. Second the location aft at fuselage, is it inline with location at rib 5? If so there is no difference. Upside down gear up and dear down for kicks. It's how I do it. Gear down adds frontal drag which is like adding weight so I do gear inside wings, upside down. I balance normal and double check with Vanessa rig too. Then there's the dynamic balance which is a whole different story.

Sorry cell phones blow. I meant like adding noseweight with added frontal drag. Just don't wreck your wing balancing.

My plane is the kit version and balances at 6.5" back from the wing LE at the fuselage sides. If flys very nicely and doesn't tend to nose over on landing.

Now see this posses a hell of an issue for me, a month ago I attempted. To balance mine as recommended and I guesses it needed 5 pounds up front to balance. So I made weights that would be bolted on with engine mounting bolts and were made to be like cheek plates along both sides of engine so it was as far forward as possible. If I move balance point back to where yours is at I don't need but maybe a pound. How did you balance hours. My problem is I don't have any help and doing the Vanessa rig which I've never done before so I don't really trust it.
