Fischer Wildcat Kit.
Well after a 6 month waiting period i have finally received my F4F Wildcat kit from fischer models. I couldn't be any happier than i am, the quality of this kit is Exceptional. I would highly recommend any one of his kits to someone that might be looking to get a Large scale model in the future. The craftsmanship is of the highest quality for what you are paying for and it was well worth the wait.
Now it's time to start building it and get it ready for next season.

Congrats Greg, you will feel the same about the way it flys. The smoothest best flying plane I've ever had my hands on. Looking forward to seeing you at TG and talking all about the Wildcat. I won't be there competing this year but will be stopping by several times to see everyone and all the awesome planes. My house is about a 20 minute ride from the event if you're interested in pouring over my F4F. You would be more than welcome. Keep in touch.
All the best,
Scott

Just to say hello to my friends Scott and Greg...
I have privilege and opportunity, thanks to Scott kind, to visit his home and see live his Wildcat. I think that model is one of the best Warbirds I ever seen...
Have a nice time on this year Top Gun...

The Fischer Wildcat is the most steady planeform ever built. Plus the exceptional quality involved. ANY Wildcat is a steady flyier. This design is made to fly. The only trouble if can be said like that is the ground handling.
Happy flyin'

Mirce, great to hear from you. Wish you were coming to Top Gun again. Maybe next year?? Take care my friend.
Johnnie Red, your comment about taxing is the same I get from everyone and oddly enough it has never ever been an issue. With the huge tail surfaces and the prop blasting over them I taxi this plane no different than I would a CARF or Miester P47. Mind you the idea is to taxi any RC plane like the full size.
Greg, I see you're wasting no time in getting started. I'm excited for your maiden already! At your current pace it should be this weekend??? Lol. Keep it up and see you at TG.

I am a true believer that the F4F is the steadiest warbird flyier ever designed!
This can be easily recognised from the middle wing tapered semisymmetrical airfoil and the big tail surfaces.
This bird is flying like an extra 300, you can go on with all the classic aerobatics, it has a roomy cowl so you don't have overheating problems with your engine...
It's a pilots dream!!!
Of course is not designed for formula 1 pilots. It is designed for aviators!!
Cheers guys
Happy landings to you all

It's not designed for jerking the rudder controls while taxiing! I agree 100%. I fly scale warbirds about 30 years, all different sizes and carf models. The best ever with a big advantage is the Wildcat. Its flying characteristics are like a sports-pattern plane. No bad habits, flies great. Even the 1:1 F4F if it had been set for the P&W 2800 double Wasp I bet it could perform much better than the P47 or the Corsair. It was smaller less drug to compensate. I admire this little bird. Such a steady flier!!

No problem , there is always a high end in everything I guess, I have buddies that spend 80,000 on a bass boat, it must be nice to have a budget for cool toys like that,, cant wait for the maiden, it is a beautiful plane , and it is in good hands....
