I forgot about Barry F4F, same like Scott have, but other color scheme. Weathering is art on this Wildcat...

Greg, do you have idea why Moki quit on P 47? Is model fixable?
Sorry about Thunderbolt...

Mirce

Mirce,
I'm clueless as to why the Moki quit on me. It is going to be sent back to get looked at. The P-47 is repairable with the replacement of the fuse and cowl.

Haven't worked on it for a while. Ever since the mishap i had with my P-47 and the moki that kinda took the wind out of the sail on this project, if you get my point.

So i have finished with the install of all the servos in the wings and tail. Next will be doing the fuel system and the throttle and choke servos. I also cut out a Firewall from 1/4'' plywood and made a mount for the engine.

Pretty much have everything finished on the plane. I just need to find some time to paint it and get it finished up completely.
Did a bit of scale detailing in the cockpit by covering the headrest with a piece of real leather.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the kind words. I'm still waiting for the engine to get repaired. They haven't given me any answers as to what is wrong with it. It also never was sent to Airworld for the repairs, it's down in florida with john from TroyBuiltModels.
So i don't know if that's good or bad.

Today I was able to finish up getting the cowl mounted and cutting out and fitting the Baffle into the cowl. This is just about the end of the building of this plane.
So next it will be time to paint and finish it for good.

Wing Walks have been painted on and covered with Micro Balloons then they were resprayed black to give them the proper texture.
