After the paint there's a few scale details I need to tackle, starting with the LG fairings
For some weird reason ESM made the fairings too thick and too short
Compared to the Severin:

The original plan was to build them from 0.5mm alum sheet (as per Severin), however as I am struggling to save any gram of weight Fliteskin proved more appropriate

I use nearly that same process for the strut covers on the Dennis Bryant Storch' , but somehow you make it look so easy . I know its not.....
Great work . Your skills are impressive.

Great looking plane. Mine has taken two years to to learn it's odd flying habits. Everyone watching always had the answer, but until you take the stick it is indescribable. My 2 cents is avoid the flaps until your comfortable flying it. Several other oddities also. But that just makes it more rewarding. Mine does not do well on gradual take offs, it is like my dr1 and requires instant full throttle then rolls out ok. Keep the posts coming, they're great.

You're both very kind, I'm still on the learning curve in this hobby and not ashamed to admit it
Next scale detail to tackle are the cabane struts that run from the wing to the main struts

I'm making these from 4mm alum tube, and since I will use tiny 2mm bolts and nuts it's a good opportunity to try out my new tool from a well-known model train shop
