Write the dates of WARBIRDS OVER DENVER on your calendar (we have unique trophies such as B25 cowl flaps, an R2800 cylinder, and more!).

Getting ready to crank things up! A week from today and we'll be burnin' some noise. Looking forward to seeing all our buds from out of town and honoring those who served the greatest country on Earth. Weather forecast is looking awesome so start the Warbird season out right and let's go fly!! Here's a little taste!

No sweat Jeffery. Heard you would be rootin' around in NC this summer. Do you plan on being at NAMFI? Got the Kate re-waivered yesterday so she's ready for next weekend...I still say she's too Big!!! But she does fly great and looks awesome. Will be attacking many ships in your honor!

Spending the day recuperating from an awesome weekend! We hosted a group of vets from the local VA and were honored by a P-38 driver as well as one of the few surviving Tuskegee pilots. I wanted to post a few pics and thank every one of the volunteers who made everything work so well.

We are looking to see you in 2017 Jeff!
We also would like to get as much feedback as possible from everyone.
What do you think about the event and what would you like to see as improvements?
Would you like to have a separate flying area for small foamies and larger models? How can we attract builders, unique projects, scale projects? Is the altitude of our location a factor in your decision not to attend the event? We'd like to hear from everyone, share your thoughts about making this event even better!
Thank you,
Bruno

Another great WBOD! Thanks again to Lora & Doug and the JefCo club for putting on one of the Premier RC events of the year! Here is a good video of the dive bombing flight...

Hey Doug and Lora, looks like you had a great event as always.Sorry I couldn't have been there cause it was one of the events I always looked forward to each year when I lived in Colorado. Hopefully will get to see you in July at PPRC's Warbirds.

Larry, your effort to do a scratch build on such a unique subject would win an award at any event! Well done my friend! As always, the Birds of Prey represented well and we have always enjoyed your participation. We hope Brent finds a good place for his "Bent Prop" award. Splattering that big Jug was spectacular! We look forward to seeing you guys at Warbirds Over Pikes Peak as well as at Warbirds Over Pueblo, Labor Day weekend.

There were three Jugs that tubbed in that I know of. Each one was spectacular, especially the poor Zirolli that won the most effective crash award. I most enjoyed the Corsair gaggles. There's just nothing like those bent wing birds making that upwind turn and screaming by together in a low pass! Great job fellas! Always honored to fly with you!

I was just looking at the trophy pics. Really gotta hand it to Lora for providing those unique awards. Seriously, where else can you walk away with an honest to goodness B-25 cowl flap, or for that matter a cylinder from an R-2800? And the "Bent Prop" award is actually a real bent prop!!
Anyway, here's a short vid of a 3 element gaggle I shot at the event.
