Robart P-47 Razorback Repaint and Assemble
For Christmas I received the Robart P-47 in the Zombie scheme. I've always wanted to do the 5F-A scheme so I will be redoing that scheme on the Zombie.
I will be using a Hacker A100-10 for power on 12 cells 10,000 mAh.

One of the first things I noticed was the chin scoop provided was not the correct shape so I order the one Ziroli sells. It has been fitted and glued in place.
I've been collecting parts to so will waiting I decided to start putting a Williams Brothers dummy engine kit together. The engine kit is a little work but will look nice once it's completed and painted.

Hi Vincent,
I'm using the 1/6th scale kit. The 1/5th scale kit is a little too large to fit far enough forward in the cowl with the chin scoop in place.

Completed putting the Williams Brothers dummy engine together. Painted the crank case grey and the cylinders aluminum.
Photo 1 - The cylinder on the left after it was painted and the cylinder on the right after weathering was applied.
Photo 2 - The engine after being assembled and weathered.
Photo 3 - The push rods and ignition cables have been added.
Photo 4 - The engine is almost ready to install. Just need to make up the mounting former.

Vincent, I just mounted it to a 1/8 ply piece that I cut to fit in the cowl. The ply also acts as a baffle, making all incoming air go to the heads.

Hey Evan,
I've changed over to kero for the jets but still abusing the electrons on the prop planes with the exception of the 1/4 scale PC-21. I'm turning the prop with a kero burner
