They obviously put the small wheels on it so that when the gear bends or flexes ( and it will!) there is enough room for slop inside the wheel wells.IF they put the more correct looking size, they danged things will always hit somewhere! Just my 2 cents.

Default I just picked one up.

I just lucked onto one of these, ready to fly. Never had gas in the tank and of course never been flown. I couldn't pass it up at the price. I paid just slightly more than the kit cost and it's equipped with a DLE 35cc, etc. BUT! I hate the color scheme. Good grief phoenix! There are so many Good schemes for the p-40 but the one you put on it is NOT good! I am tempted to paint it but then I would have to spring for a complete new set of decals. Oh well. I'll probably just fly it.
