All saito radial engines are reliable.I 've been using them for the last 15 years with great success. Never had any issues with my RD 450-GLOW and my FG-84 STOCK!......If you want to fly at full throttle all the time ;GO FOR A TWO STROKE GAS!!....I have brand new saito FG-90 and it's a superb engine

Ya right that is why 3 out of 3 at my field have broke!

Starts first flip great power good idle excellent engine, just like all my Saito twins, can't beat them.

I have the 57 twin, no issues whatsoever, other than carbon on the exhaust valve seats from using crappy oil. Now I run Amsoil Saber at 15:1, runs like a top. FYI I have a 84 with the Ray English mods, no issues so far. Also I only use 110 octane race gas , but thinking of switching both of them to Methanol, just have to figure out the carb situation
