Now to cut the cowl for the exhaust and find where the rockers meet the cowl

Ok I’m going to come up with something to cover the rocker arm relief holes....blister or build up the cowl nose bowl, any ideas???

Looks good Jimmy. Man, I never would have thought the 125 would not fit. "What the Bleep!!! Is the Moki 180 a little smaller than 10" since it fits or is the UMS 125 a little bigger than 10"?

the 125 is 10.5” so it looks like it has a longer stroke than a Moki The UMS 7-160 I run will turn the same prop 900 rpm faster than a 150 Moki and run 100 degrees cooler

Ok you guys I’ve wrestled with this long enough....blisters will kill the scale lines as do the holes so which way should I go
holes?
blisters?
i don’t want either but a choice needs to be made and I’m leaning toward holes

Do the rockers actually stand proud of the cowl line? If so how much? It looks like you could build up that area with some G10. that's hollowed on the back.
Your blisters from spoons look OK but are way too big belt sand them down to a little tear drop.

Holes look better to me. Paint one of the spoons it might help on your decision.

You will get some filler to smooth them into the cowl. They aren't very attractive right now

I stayed in Corydon last year. The term that the road was as crooked as a dogs hind leg comes to mind.
We are staying at the host hotel I think its in New Albany more of a straight shot north.
I wont have the FW done, I'll be flying the Hellcat!
I just reviewed the link and I didn't make the film roll.

Damn, so the UMS125-5Cyl doesnt fit in this thing? :-(

That is soo disappointing as I had one at a great price. Think I am going to have to put the Saito FG90 in....not really what I wanted, but so be it ..

Urgh...

Hello Gents,

I have been Following this thread for a bit as I really want one theses real bad, I was looking at the UMS Install and was wondering if you can set motor back against the original firewall and have a new prop made for clearance or possibly trade it out for a UMS 115?
