RE: FLAIR FOKKER D- 7
Just finished Flair Fokker waiting for weather to clear for test flight. It was a very time consuming project but the finished plane looks fantastic. Used two mini servos for alierons. Proctor enterprises seems to be the best source for publications and dress up parts for WW I planes. I got Williams Brothers machine guns, vintage wheels, pilot, and cockpit trim from them. I wish they would have made a 61 inch Fokker DVII I imagine it would have fantastic detail. I also found that if I chopped the side like the actual Fokker is for the exhaust manafold a four stroke muffler comes out in the stock location. I have been breaking in my engine and it looks fantastic, why would you do anything else?

RE: FLAIR FOKKER D- 7
I been Flying the FLair Fokker DVII now. If flys very very good. I increased the aileron throw though. In fact if you have the AeroFly Pro Deluxe simulator go to Rodeos site and download the 1/5 scale Fokker DVII. It is unbelievably close to what the Flair Fokker DVII flys like. The Magnum .70 4 Stroke is good power for it. I imagine with the electrics I have seen converting it to electric would be no problem. However, the sound of the 4 stroke in that plane is the icing on the cake. I myself would never put anything in that plane but a 4 stroke.

Hello,
I build this for a couple of years, powered and flown by a Magnum FS 91.Weight ca. 9,6 lbs.
The Pilot is turning around with Rudder and a MG-Sound module is installed. But you will hear it
only by throttled engine. Now I will sell my Flair D VII.
Greetings
Klaus

I have the Flair D-7 that has been modified to electric. It flies great using a Turnigy SK 4260, Castle C 80 Amp speed control , 15-7 APC E-prop, 6 Cell Rhino 3700 LiPo.
I can give you mor info if that's what you are interested in?
