Default retracable tailwheel options 1/8 scale

Guys,
I am trying to install a retracable tailwheel into a TF P-47 .60 size. I would lke gear doors also. I was excted to see Turgnity made an electric tailwheel but now is discontinued (guess it had issues).
Other than the robart retracable tailwheel what are my options????

Not sure which Robart tail wheel you are referring to as there are several. I used a Robart 1/2A nose wheel retract in a House of Balsa .40 sized P-51 Mustang. https://robart.com/collections/gear-...icro-nose-gear I have also used this https://robart.com/products/60-size-...able-tailwheel.

I'm using a small electric nose wheel retract from Hobby King as a tail wheel retract in a 68" wing span Sea Fury that I'm working on. Fortunately the Sea Fury, like the Mustang and a few other warbirds, has a tail wheel that retracts forward which allows a nose wheel unit to work without modifications. Since you need it to retract rearward then you would have to make accommodations to allow for steering. On a Spitfire I had many years ago, which had a rearward retracting tail wheel, I used a dedicated steering servo which was turned off via a small micro-switch when the gear was retracted which solved the dilemma nicely.
