RE: Let's See Your Luftwaffe Birds!!!
My ME-163 was scratch built from Jim Kiehl Plans. 100" w/s Weighs about 21 lbs, Power is a Moki 180 Glow. It takes off a dolly which drops off. Moki is turning a 16/10 3 blade. We usually fly it about 8 to 9 minutes. It burns 20oz of glow fuel in that time. just shut off the engine and glide in. The rocket assist really helps on takeoff. 14lbs of thrust for 5 seconds. You can't see the prop in the photo my amiego Bill Hofer took the photo then photo shopped out the prop and engine cylinder. Stuka Jon

Posted pics of my KMP ME-109 and Kyosho ME-109 on page 9. Here's a couple shots of my little foamy FW-190, ME-109, and ME-262.
Will be working on a CMP ME-109F once it gets here next month.

RE: Let's See Your Luftwaffe Birds!!!
Merlin I eliminated the inner flaps and lengthed the ailerons. This is my 2nd one and I had only used the inner flaps as ailerons as the flaps only extended the glide. Believe me its a floater. I have the elvons coupled with the throttle and as throttle is reduced it puts in a little down elvon to help control the long glide and it eliminates balloning on coming into ground effect. Heres my platt FW190D. (Old kit, new plane) It has a webra 91P5, 15-8 graupner, spring air retracts/struts, 3/4 oz cloth and klasskote paints. Weight is about 10.5 and it flies very well and fast, also the best taxiing warbird by far. I modified it for scale tailwheel location and installed flaps as well.

RE: Let's See Your Luftwaffe Birds!!!
A latecomer to this great thread. Just wondering if anyone can refer me to reference materials that can show me the red/white striped underside on the D9s used for ME262 airfield defense?
TIA

RE: Let's See Your Luftwaffe Birds!!!
Thanks, Dave and Todd. That gives me what I was looking for.
Dave Nice job on the 190; the retracts make the plane! LOL They must work all right. I haven't started my 190 yet, but it's next on the bench.
