RE: Let's See Your Luftwaffe Birds!!!
Here is my ESM 109E. 26cc gasser spinnning a 17x8. Converted the ESM retracts with Lado 666 motors. Pilot is Ace of Iron bust. I enjoyed completing the weathering but wish I had spent the time on doing a cockpit. Oh well next model will get one!

Some imagination, and it could look like a black tulip (The black triangels aft of the spinner);
Also a good pic on the front of this book;(A very good book)

I had an 90mm EDF F-86 in Hartmann's colors awile back...it was not the camo scheme, but the mostly silver/aluminum. It did have tulips though.
First pic is of the real paint scheme and 2nd pic is my fly-fly f-86

Hi Everyone!
Wow, I can't believe that I started this post back in '03...been a long time hey! I'm really pleased to see that there are so many beautiful Luft. birds still out there!
I've been sort of out of the hobby, not by choice, for a while...but am itching to get back in.

Nice Stuka, Bass!
Glad you started the thread Katchmarek!
You got me inspired posting a photo of my Vailly landing at Warbird-Weekend this fall.
The top one is the Vailly (Siegried Schnell) , the lower one is Øistein Aanensen's Sist Fw A8 (JG 5, Herdla)
Øistein is the only Norwegian I know about that has participated at Top Gun, with a Dauntless.
Vailly data: Weight 17.5 kg (39 lbs, 624 oz ) dry, wing area 131 dm2 (2038 sq.in)
So wing loading should be: 17500 g / 131 dm2 = 134 g/dm2
