I am building a Jerry Bates Moth Minor cut by Bob. His wood selection and laser cutting are as good as it gets. I also have an HE 100D cut by him, Jerry Bates design, and then a Fiberglass FW 190 D 9 with a wood wing. THe Moth Minor will be done quickly, but I am really looking forward to the HE 100D.

Also is my late and not necessarily lamented CMP 109F. I was given this plane by a club member. It was much for him to handle. It had the gear moved forward to prevent nose overs and had a DLE 20. It was a handful for me too but I eventually got the take offs and landing down, for the most parts. Later installed an NGH 35, it needed the power. Installed an inexpensive (cheap) Hobby King gyro. It really helped the take offs until it malfunctioned and interfered with the receiver. Plane rolled onto its back and went straight in. Totaled. I'm considering getting a ESM 109 just to use the Sierra gear.

Hey Jetjockgb,
Is that Detlef's big D9 or another 1/3rd D9? Just awesome work!!
Are there more build pics? I checked Phil's thread at RSCB but no updates over there to this level.
Very cool to use the EDF inside the supercharger.
Thanks for any info.

Hi Joe,
It's bigger than Dealers one this D9 is 3.7meter Long!!!!
I used to post up here all the time doing my builds, you can catch me on Face book under graham buchanan or my Tiger models page.
If I would get enough interest I would start posting up here again,
Cheers graham

Hey Graham,
Here is a copy of the post I did over at RCSB in my SiSt build.
It might help you for somewhere for reference.
EDIT: Hey Graham, didn't know your username here.... Awesome work as always. Wish I could get your metal paint over here...
Joe
I got these pics for my build and to help you guys so feel free to use them in your build threads and as needed to help you with your projects.
I got as much from the rear as I could. Poking the lens through the cracks in the fake concrete wall, lifting the camera on the tripod in mono-pod fashion like a news reporter, and asking 3 different docents if I could go behind the D9 to get shots. I was turned down very politely each time. So I got what I could get by shooting pictures through the neighboring displays. The tripod and a delayed shutter yeilded some prettygood results.

I had to load the pics into 6 pages of Evernote files due to their size. If I work with them to organize or sort them you will always see the most current version of the files as Evernote sync's things right away and will keep everything current.

Hey Graham,
Try the links now.... I think I got them. They may take a bit to load so do one page at a time. As long as the page starts to load give it a bit and refresh if it doesn't show up at first. Evernote can be cranky at times.
Once the page is open you can click on them and see them full sized.

Here are a couple of shots of my recently completed ESM Bf 109 made to resemble Erich Hartmann's plane on the eastern front. Lyle Vasser did Erich's face for me for the plane. He did a great job!
