Default A1 Skyraider

I have always loved the looks and history of the A1 Skyraider. Its design process of a one night stand and achievement in quick production process, is unique. Also, its results in the field of duty in a dwindling prop plane eviroment, its use by the military and its lenghtly career make it an awesome plane.
I have had various A1 Skyraider models and right now have four Rc models. Also have variuos plastic models been the latest the one from SukeiMura.
This are my Skyraiders:

Chona "La Puerca Asesina" a 100" Ziroli model with all the weapons load.

Chonita a foam model I have had for over 10 years

Two ESM models:

1st The Navy version and 2nd the Sandy rescue version

ESM A1 Skyraider Navy version

ESM A1 Skyraider Sandy version

I just finished the SukeiMura Skyraider in a diorama, Hope you enjoy it.

Gonzo

Default Skyraiders!!!

You've got some beautiful airplanes there! I was lucky to pick up a used 60"+ Skyraider from a deceased club member recently. It needs sprucing up and an engine, but it is something. Quite large. Can't wait to get to work on it! Thanks for sharing!

Maschar and Steelhead, thanks for your comments. A1 have usualy been modeled often. Not too many ready to fly models were available as for P47's, P51's, Cubs, Corsair's, etc. Now more ARF producers are offering the model.

It is a strong and steady flier and only the rotating main gear makes it a little complicated.

Enjoy your builds and good days at the flying field.
