Try squadron signal in action (corsairs) or Corsair aces by osprey books. a must have for corsair lovers.

Here is my GP EP Corsair, I airbrushed the plane adding panel line highlights, paint chips, exhaust stains and used Lulubelle(Boyington's Corsair) to model it after. Looks pretty decent for what it is and doesn't fly too bad.

ORIGINAL: BarracudaHockey

Don't forget that about the only thing authentic about the show was the fact they used Corsairs, the planes are a mixed bag of what they could scrounge up to film the show and combat footage from the war.
Very true.....was still awesome to see a show with Corsairs in it Hence also why I have the DVD's now

I'd love those DVD's where did you get them?

If you watch carefully they are flying some models that were never even in that theater during the years the show was taking place.

The lastest issue of Warbirds International has a large article on the filming of the TV series "BaBa Blacksheep" and there's a lot of Corsair pics taken during the filming. A good read.

I've posted photos of the Smithsonian plane elsewhere on this site too. I work just a few miles from the museum and took a day to go snap a bunch of shots of her.
