Default Ercoupe as a warbird?

Hello, I am considering the purchase and construction of a 1/3 Balsa USA Ercoupe. It is my intention to finish it in a "war-bird" scheme. The Ercoupe I would model it after was the first US JATO (Jet Assisted Take-off) airplane. It was designated by the air-force as XPQ-13: serial # 2673, and licensed as N2049H. My question for the war-bird crowd is; would the Ercoupe be readily accepted at war-bird meets? If it would be poo-poo'ed by the other participants, why bother. Just testing the waters before I jump in.

In my experience as long as it is legit and is in military dress, no one will have an issue.

If the aircraft is modeled after one actually used by the military, no issue.

The rocket itself is no problem, the mount on the other hand is undocumented as far as i can tell.
