Mustang MK IV No 19 Sqn pictures?
Anyone got any pictures of 19 sqn Mustangs with RAF markings?
The only pictures I can find are of QV-V "Dooleybird", and these are pictures of either a Corgi model or a flight sim skin...

You might try going to www.dogpile.com and typing in squadron or wing and see what it finds.[&:]

RE: Mustang MK IV No 19 Sqn pictures?
The problem with RAF Mustang IV's is there are very few photos. There are some out of print books out there but even these photos are low quality. It seems that by 1945, everyone was tired of the war and things also moved quickly so photos got fewer and fewer.
I'll bet the Imperial War Museum would have the best source, but it'll be tough searching through their stuff. I have a few shots of 19 Sdn planes, mostly MkIII, I can scan and put on the site. Most MkIV's are aluminum finish, I hate these because they tend to disappear in certain conditions. I really didn't want to redo the whole message I posted before (Hence the above link).
I had a tough time coming up with QV-P, but Airfix and luck finding the photo of the plane saved the day. Let me know if you come up with anything. I'm always looking for RAF fighhter photos.

That's for the info, I think I've come across those pictures while I was looking.
Here on an [link=http://www.sandbaggeruk.com/cwraf51.html]EAW site[/link] in addition to graphics of QV-V, are QV-F (which I might end up doing) as well as QV-P...
I was hoping for better color pictures of RAF aluminium finished Mustangs.....

If you just want a natural finish scheme then I have a couple of pictures of 112 squadron MKIV's in natural metal. They are natural finish with olive drab anti-glare panels, one is the same as the one in my avatar, Sharkmouth and eyes with the callsign in black instead of white, the other is the same without sharkmouth and eyes but with the desert airforce shield quite large on the fuselage side just in front of where the canopy starts. They are from an out of print book and are just standard grainy black and white pictures. Here is one from the Australian air force.
