GSP 68'' P-51 Help :)
Would anyone out there have any info on this plane. As far as engine? Thinking Saito 1.50 with a 13 by 13 apc prop. Anything I need to modify on this bird? Thank you to everyone on RCU

I've got one, talked to GSP about the engine size. I told him that I have a O.S. 108 and was told that it was the perfect size engine for the plane. I did strip off the cheap covering on the wing and put Ultracote on it, also repainted the fuselage olive drab. Robarts 605 hd retracts. Unfortunately I haven't flown it yet so cant I give you an honest opinion. I am a little concerned about the weight though, didn't check it yet, but it does feel a bit heavy.

Thank you so much for the info. I was just going to use there machanical retracts that they make for the plane. And the Saito 1.50. Please keep me informed as to how it flys. Oh what paint did you use on the fuse that would stick?
Thanks again everyone for looking.

I used Top Flight paint and it doesn't seems to be a problem. I did read on RCU a while ago that someone hated the plane. I think he crashed his, complained about the weight; but another guy said he really liked the way the plane flys. I guest I will find out sooner or later.
