Default Ziroli P-38 gear door cylinders

Am looking for information on what size cylinders and travel distance being used on the Ziroli P-38 gear doors, thanks

here is a pic of my z p-38. i had to give this issue some thought when i did mine, as you have probly noticed there is not much info out there. once i had a workable idea it was built pretty easily. as you can see in the pic the cylinders are robarts, my hinges are home made and are actuated by ball links. when you have a setup installed adjust the ball links so the cylinder and the door are in the closed position. open the doors with the cylinder until the doors ore in the open position. you want to measure the distance of travel the cylinder has in these two positions. take this measurement and compare it to the cylinder out to the model. more then likely the installed position will be a shorter throw. the difference in the distance is the thickness of a shim you will have to install inside of the cylinder to reduce it's movement.
