Kyosho P-51 ?
My Father is Just Getting into R/C I picked up a trainer for him, but what he really wants to fly is a P-51.
My mother bought him the Kyosho p-51. What can anybody tell me about this plane, and has anyone got any advice for my father in regards to flying a warbird ?. I fly a Cap 232 myself so I'm not all that familliar with the flight characteristics of this type of plane.

Would not recommend any low-wing warbird as a first plane. Get him flying that trainer for a while either with you or a qualified instructor on a buddy cord. A computer simulator would also be a good investment. You can both try different planes and helicopters and not worry about crashing anything for real.
