Default FW 190,

Thanks!

I checked out the site and they have the wrong Wing Span listed. Typo?
I ordered them from Ralph Saxton.

Aron,
you come across a Ziroli P-40 glass fuse? I have the Saxton wings on my P-40 right now. Ralph does a great job of cutting the scale undercamber and washout in the tip.

Good choice,

Ray

Default Hi Ray,

Actually this is a very old post that I just happened to run across as my subscription to it was ended by me.

The wings I did order from Ralph but he was in that accident so he was unsure as to a dilivery time so I cancelled. Since then I bought that Ziroli Hellcat and ordered the wings through balsa dynamics or what ever the name is??

A P-40 is next on my "short list"!

Merry Christmas!
Aron

Aron,
I guess I could have paid more attention to the date eh?

Warbird1,
no, no and no. Ralph's products are very very basic in presentation. If one is going to use any of his offerings, a good background in building composites is needed. I usually just grab an In Action book, blow up the 3 views and go from there when ever I build one of his planes.

thanks ray, i think i'll just build up a wing. i hate messing with foam as i don't have the right tools to work with it. i'm going to make my p-40 wings in three peices. i like to keep the plane on it's gear with transporting here and there so i'll make the outter wing panels removable. i used tubes from gator when i did the p-38 so i think i'll go that route again . they seem to be very strong .thanks for the reply back , ron "warbird_1"
